Under the blessings of Revered Shriman Nirmal Singh Ji Dhillon, the esteemed guidance of Chairperson Dr. Agnese Dhillon, and the dynamic leadership of Principal Dr. Sangeeta Sharma, the Library Staff of Dev Samaj College for Women, Ferozepur, organized an Orientation Programme for the students of B.A., B.Sc., B.Voc., B.C.A., B.Com., M.A., and M.Sc. classes.
The programme aimed to acquaint students with the wide range of library resources and services, thereby enhancing their research aptitude and information literacy skills. The session included live demonstrations on Web OPAC, DELNET, Periodicals, and the Library Blog. The interactive nature of the workshop evoked enthusiastic participation from the students. Many of them also came forward to volunteer for contributing to the Library Blog,displaying their keen interest in academic engagement beyond the classroom.
The Library Team assured that such orientation workshops will be organized regularly to empower students with the tools required for effective learning and meaningful research.
